Mehnoor is looking cute with this baby hijaab

Today Mehnoor was telling me "Baba dekho baba dekho" after wearing this hijaab. I thought to keep a shot of this. Arian's (Mehnoor's Cousin) Nanu brought it for Mehnoor from Saudi Arabia when they went for Hajj two years back. Last year when I went for Hajj, I also bought one for her .. but mine was a bit bigger. May Allah makes our children good muslim, Ameen.

Ayan is very excited today. The first thing he told me coming from school is the news of Cocoon turning into butterfly at his school Project. He has been telling me about his project of Caterpiller for last two weeks and every other day was giving me the update of the sate of the Caterpiller and then Cocoon and finaly today the butterfly. This is amazing how they are learning here.

At last Mehnoor started writing Alphabet!

E and F are the letters Mehnoor learned to write with ease. Of course Ayan is the teacher. The only other letter she can write now is A.

Today we went for a BBQ at Jack Darling Memorial park, the whole 3600 Colonial Bangladeshi gang. It was the first group out this summer. The weather was great. Ayan and Mehnoor had great time.

- it's the middle part with pit of the mango. Guess what? Shammi and Mehnoor sometime compete to have this part of the Mango. Alhamdulillah, this time we are getting very sweet mango. Still missing the Bangladeshi Lengra.

It was on May 12, 2011 at Oakvile driving test centre. Shammi went for her driving test and I was baby sitting Ayan and Mehnoor at the centre. Trying to divert them through taking pictures and Shammi came with Great news. She passed!

Ayan left for school leaving his Jacket at home within the reach of Mehnoor. She immediately took the chance to wear it! And when I asked her to give a pose this is what she gave. Ayan usually give the same pose when we ask him for a pose.

Mehnoor is just following Ayan

Mehnoor is little older than 2.5 years. Ayan is 5 years. We are sending Ayan to a tutor to learn Arabic and Islamic dua. Interestingly Mehnoor is also learning the Duas when Ayan practices those at home.
Last week she just surprised us reciting a dua "Rabbiz Aalni mukimassalatai wameen jurriati rabbana watakabbal dua" Alhamdulillah. May Allah preserve our children and make them a good muslim. Ameen.

Ayan is finishing Junior kindergarten and Mehnoor is staying home

I have been inspired to create a blog for Ayan and Mehnoor from a coleague of mine. One day, inshAllah when they grow up they will be able to see what's been kept here. I left my full time job with Intuit last September 2010 and since then have been working on BoroMela project. Recently I have made an arrangement with Bdjobs to start a new project using the Discount section of BoroMela. So, I am mostly working from home with these and spending rest of the time with Mehnoor and Ayan more closely then I used to do when I was on full time job.

These are precious moments watching them growing. May Allah makes our children successful in this world and hearafter.
